Là tiêu chuẩn quốc tế, đưa ra các yêu cầu và hướng dẫn áp dụng Hệ thống quản lý năng lượng nhằm giúp các tổ chức cải thiện hiệu quả sử dụng năng lượng. Áp dụng tiêu chuẩn quốc tế này cũng sẽ giúp làm giảm phát thải khí nhà kính và các tác động môi trường liên quan khác và giảm chi phí năng lượng qua việc quản lý năng lượng một cách có hệ thống. Tiêu chuẩn quốc tế này áp dụng cho mọi tổ chức không phân biệt quy mô, loại hình hoạt động, vị trí địa lý, điều kiện văn hóa và xã hội.

What is ISO 50001?

ISO 50001 is an International Standard specifying requirements with guidance for use an energy management system. The purpose of this standard is to enable organizations to establish the systems and processes necessary to improve energy performance, including energy efficiency, use and consumption. Implementation of this International Standard is intended to lead to reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and other related environmental impacts and energy cost through systematic management of energy. This International Standard is applicable to all types and sizes of organizations, irrespective of geographical, cultural or social conditions.
